Fishtail Braids Four Ways

Once known as the Grecian braid, fishtail braids are all the rage these days for their versatility and eye-catching details. Similar to French braids in their smooth finish, fishtails have two hair sections rather than the three seen in traditional braids. The two sections are continuously woven over each other, usually in a ponytail.

Fishtails can add depth and texture to your hairstyle, especially if you have colored hair or highlights. The high pony and boxer braid variations look best at the beach or a casual day out with friends. They also make great festival hairstyles!

If you're attending a wedding, prom, or other event, try a zig zag or organic fishtail braid. They're cute for the reception, but also comfy and casual enough that you can go to sleep with your braids still in after a long night of celebrations.
