goldplaited is—and always will be—a beauty brand. But that didn’t stop

us from chasing a side hustle in fashion. After all, what’s good hair

and makeup without the outfit to match? That’s how goldplaited | the

boutique was born in June 2024, right in the heart of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood at 3119 N. Broadway.

For years, our clients told us they loved our style—not just the glam,

but the way we pulled a look together. Launching a boutique was the

natural next step: a curated shopping experience that reflects the same

playful, polished, and on-trend aesthetic you already know from

goldplaited.

Our Retail Roots

Coco and I grew up in retail. Our parents owned a regional clothing

store—The Little People’s House (woop woop!)—and we spent our early

years surrounded by racks, registers, and retail hustle. That background

made us fall in love with the art of merchandising and the thrill of

helping people find pieces that feel like them.

How We Built the Boutique

Unlike fast fashion, our boutique isn’t random. We:

- Do all our own buying & sourcing – Attending trade shows across the

country to hand-pick every piece.

- Study our clients – After styling thousands of women for over a

decade, we understand what resonates: statement sweaters,

high-end jewelry, pop culture gems, seasonal must-haves.

- Curate for our community – Everything in the boutique is chosen with

the goldplaited girl in mind—fun, stylish, and always ready for her next

event.
